Spotted Gum 42mm X 19mm Vertical Flat Screens

Spotted gum is a very popular Australian hardwood used for a lot of decking and screening projects across Australia. It is a timber that is vibrant in colour and has exceptional durability. Spotted Gum comes with a BAL rating of 29, so its combustion rate is very slow, making it ideal for installation around Bush Fire prone areas. Our Spotted Gum screening will silver off in the sun, however staining once a year will help prolong its colouration. If looked after, Spotted Gum screening can give you 40+ years of durability!
Our flat profile of screening has the 40mm battens positioned flat with an 10mm spacing between battens. The panels are all screw fixed from behind using galvanised screws. The panels then butt join seamlessly next to each other once installed.

Spotted Gum is a Native Australian timber and is hard to source due to a nationwide timber shortage. Please check with our office team if we have these timber lengths available for order or what the approximate wait times are for the screens. These screens usually take 3 weeks to manufacture. We do not hold Spotted Gum screens in stock, we make these panels to order. We have a max width of 900mm wide.
