Due to the high demand for Spotted Gum premium hardwood timber year round, we’ve been able to source a new thinner profile of Spotted Gum, using a 40mm face x 14mm depth profile These panels are made with a 10mm gap, deeming them pool compliant.
Construction
- The Panels We Make Are Made From 40mm X 14mm Spotted Gum
- We Have Backing Supports Spaced At Approx. Every 500mm Centres To Ensure That The
- Panels Don’t Twist. If You Build A Screening Section And Leave Too Wide Distance Between Supports Then You Run The Risk Of Having The Panels Warp.
- There Is A Standard Gap Of Approx.. 10mm Between Slats Making The Screen Both Pool Compliant And REScode Compliant
- When Constructing The Panels We Use 32mm Galvanised Screws In Each Join So The Panel Is Firmly Secure And Is Set To Last Over 40 Years!

Spotted Gum is a Native Australian timber and is hard to source due to a nationwide timber shortage. Please check with our office team if we have these timber lengths available for order or what the approximate wait times are for the screens. These screens usually take 3 weeks to manufacture. We do not hold Spotted Gum screens in stock, we make these panels to order. We have a max width of 900mm wide.
