Our internal pool screens are a great alternative to traditional glass pool fencing. This modern screening design where we pass your desired tubing (galvanised steel, powder coated steel or copper,) through the center of the battens has been a popular choice for screening for front fences as well as screening off pool areas. Our galvanised steel option is the thickest of the tubing we use having a 2.6mm wall thickness, whereas the copper is at 1mm which is why we recommend having the top section sleeved top and bottom. By sleeving the copper on top it improves the rigidity whilst still allowing it to be curved onsite to suit your applications. To install these screens you can either drill pilot holes through timber posts either side and feed the tubing of the panels through those holes and rear fix through the back of the post to secure the tubing and panel in place. With the method of installing you will need to ensure the gap spacing between the end of the last batten and the inside of the post does not exceed 100mm as this will fail compliance standards listed in AS1926.1 for pool fencing.
