1800mm X 909mm 40mm X 14mm Spotted Gum Vertical Flat Screens with 10mm Spacing

Our new native spotted gum screening made from 40mm X 14mm solid spotted gum with 42mm X 19mm spotted gum backings. This profile of screening is a great screening option when you are after a native Australian hardwood to use in your outdoor landscape. By using 14mm instead of 19mm battens it helps bring down the weight of the screen and also minimise the cost per screen. The screens are screwed together using galvanised fixings. There is a 10mm spacing between battens making the screen pool compliant. Spotted gum is a highly sort after timber with its natural color variation providing a great backdrop for many backyard landscapes. It is a class 1 hardwood set to last over 40 years for external applications. We recommend using cutek CD50 to stain the battens which will slightly darken the timber but will highlight the natural color variation in the timber species and then if left to weather will grey off nicely over time.

Spotted Gum is a Native Australian timber and is hard to source due to a nationwide timber shortage. Please check with our office team if we have these timber lengths available for order or what the approximate wait times are for the screens. These screens usually take 3 weeks to manufacture. We do not hold Spotted Gum screens in stock, we make these panels to order. We have a max width of 900mm wide.
