Our Jabon vertical flat screens are the lightest timber we work with in terms of weight, Jabon is a fast growing plantation softwood known to be easy to work with, both in terms of cutting and especially in terms of painting. As Jabon isnt a very resinious timber it is a great choice of timber to choose from when you are after a specific paint color finish. They are also our recommended timber choice for when you are not looking to put too much additional stress on an existing framework. Jabon is not traditionally known for its durability which is why we have the material H3 treated to give it a durability expectancy of over 20 years when used externally. These screens are commonly used for painted applications for boundary perimeter fencing. The weight of an 1800mm X 900mm screen would be 16kg.
